September 13: 2 pm services at First Presbyterian Church, 800 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, Texas. This service will be live streamed. Additional information to follow.
September 20-21: A Heart Celebration of Jane’s Life at Camp Stewart. Reservations are required by September 15, 2025. Make a reservation.
MORE ABOUT THE WEEKEND 'HEART CELEBRATION OF LIFE'
The weekend Heart Celebration of Jane's Life has been planned by the Ragsdale family and Jane’s special longtime Heart friends Cristi Lee Ahern, Molly Dale Crow, Louann Nadalini, Meredith Hill and Kathryn Brown Horner, along with the Heart staff, and it will be focused on Heart O’ the Hills traditions.
Attendees for the weekend Celebration may reserve cabin* space at Camp Stewart on a first-come, first-served basis. Price includes lodging and all meals. Attendees may also stay off-camp and eat at Stewart. Reservations are needed for both. No single meal tickets are available.
Celebration Schedule
Saturday, September 20:
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Arrival
6:30 pm: Dinner (menu is the one Jane selected for her wedding)
8:00 pm: Memorial Vespers followed by a ‘Jane-style’ ice cream party
Suggested attire: camp uniforms and old name tags; comfortable camp clothing
Sunday, September 21
8:00 - 9 am: Buffet continental breakfast
10:00 am: Memorial Service (at campfire area)
12:30 pm: Lunch (fried chicken)
Suggested attire: Sunday whites
All Celebration Weekend events will be at the Stewart Dining Hall and Campfire Area.
Celebration Costs
Staying at Stewart (includes meals):
Adults: $195
Children under 12 (bring sleeping bag for top bunk): $100
Staying off-camp and attending meals:
Adults: $125
Children under 12: $65
Anyone wishing to donate to the Jane Ragsdale Memorial or to Stewart clean-up/rebuilding may add to the cost and designate the donation purpose
*Stewart cabins are rustic! No a/c; ceiling fans only. Bunk beds are twin size. Bathrooms do not have electrical plugs for hairdryers, etc. Attendees may want to bring blankets or stadium seats for campfire area.
