Stewart Dance

During each four week session an evening program dance is scheduled  with the boys of Camp Stewart. A night full of fun age-appropriate music and dancing!

Tribe Events

At Heart O' the Hills, the girls are assigned to either the Pawnee or Shawnee tribes, with two senior staff members selected as Sponsors for each tribe.  Once a camper is assigned a tribe, they will forever belong to that tribe. Throughout the term, tribes compete in various activities to gain points for their tribe. These events make everyone feel like they can contribute to the tribe.

Birthdays
Birthdays are also very special days at here at The Heart. Campers and Staff with a birthday during camp are treated to a special birthday cake, baked and decorated just for them. Campers then share their cake with their table for dessert! Everyone loves having a birthday camper at their table.

Special events and camp traditions are a special part of Heart O' the Hills. Each night has an evening activity - some favorites are Ice Cream at Jane's, Afghanbananastan, Carnival Night, and Tribe Hill. Campfires, songs in the dining hall, and Big/Little sisters are just some of the favorite camp traditions. Stewart dance and Brother/Sister Picnic with our brother camp, Camp Stewart  put the "special" in special event! And of course, we have some surprises in store too!

Field Day
Twice a term, campers and staff enjoy what are known as Field Days. These days are a break from our daily activity and add excitement and variety to camp life. Field Days are an entire day of exciting and new activities centered around a common theme such as Olympics Day, Circus Day, Wild Wild West Day or Dr. Suess Day.

Brother/Sister Picnic

We know that many brothers and sisters attend camp at the same time. Because our camps are in two different locations, siblings do not get to see each other. So that siblings can get together and visit, we do offer a Brother/Sister Picnic for our two and four week campers. Cousins and other relations are not included.
