Just south of Round Rock, watch for FM 1325, which feeds into Mo-Pac (Loop 1). Go south and exit west on 290.

 Turn right (west) on 290 and follow it to Fredericksburg. In Fredericks-burg, 290 becomes Main Street, and downtown, you will see Hwy. 16. Turn left (south) to downtown Kerrville (20 miles).

 Once downtown, you will go right (west) on Main Street, a.k.a. Hwy. 27. Continue 6 miles to the small town of Ingram.

 In Ingram, the road forks and you will bear left onto Hwy. 39.

 Stay on 39 for 10 miles and you will be at the Heart O’ the Hills. The road follows the river and will begin to wind. You will pass through the tiny town of Hunt. One landmark is the Hunt Store; our gate is exactly four miles past the Store. Our gate is marked with a six-foot limestone heart, so you really can’t miss it!

 ©©©©©©If you prefer to travel on I-35, go south to Austin, and in south Austin, watch for 290 west. Follow it through Johnson City to Fredericksburg, and pick up the directions from there. It’s farther, but all major routes.
