In Austin, find 290 and go west through Johnson City to Fredericksburg.

 From Fredericksburg’s Main Street, go south on Hwy. 16 to downtown Kerrville (20 miles).

 Once downtown, go right (west) on Main Street, a.k.a. Hwy. 27. Continue 6 miles to the small town of Ingram.

 In Ingram, the road forks and you will bear left onto Hwy. 39.

 Stay on 39 for 10 miles and you will be at The Heart. The road follows the river and will begin to wind. You will pass through the tiny town of Hunt. One landmark is the Hunt Store; our gate is exactly four miles past the Store. Our gate is marked with a six-foot limestone heart, so you really can’t miss it!
